Last evening the Avon River Rats notched a 6 to 3 victory over the East Hants Penguins.
Will Earley tended the nets for the River Rats with goals scored by each of Samuel MacLellan and Samuel Plourde and doubles for Tyler Lapierre (one with a penalty shot) and Logan Cleveland.
