The West Hants Historical Society hosted it annual Heritage Banquet at the Windsor Legion on March 19, 2016 beginning with a reception at 6pm.
This year’s event included a presentation by archaeologists Jonathan Fowler, Sara Beanlands and Rob Ferguson. In the presentation they outlined and detailed how much of our history and artifacts left behind by ancestral generations, lay underground.
As part of the presentation and slideshow they described how they uncovered and interpreted the history. This included the new technologies used in their work such as penetrating radar and drone aircraft which were used at Ft Edward.
