IMG_1680_Greg_Kelley_2February 17, 2016 the Long Pond Arena Society presented its information on the pending Long Pond Arena Center. With $3 million in funding recently announced Jan 31st by  Nova Scotia’s Premier  Stephen McNeil the timing of the information session was ideal.

As reflected in the video below, the presentation was held King’s Edgehill School in the Fountain Performing Arts Center and was lead by Long Pond Arena Society President Greg Kelley. He was accompanied by committee members Deputy Warden of Municipality of West Hants Gary Cochrane; Frank Jr. Moore; Windsor Hockey Heritage Society President, David Hunter; Danny Dill of Long Pond and Dill Family Farms; Hants West MLA Chuck Porter, Jeff Redden, Owner of Windsor Home Hardware and Joe Seagram, Headmaster King’s Edgehill School.

The presentation along with its question and answer session provide a well-developed and detailed view of the plans being put in place for a new arena. Questions regarding the Long Pond Arena Center can be directed to the Long Pond Arena Society.
