Remembrance Day Service Nov. 11, 2015
November 11, 2015, Windsor NS, Although the weather on this Remembrance Day in Windsor Nova Scotia was seasonably cool and damp, it did not dissuade the residents of Hants County from coming out to pay tribute and honor to its veterans.
While difficult to estimate the numbers Victoria Park was nearly full with members of the communities that were steadfast in their need to attend today’s services.
The procession began with the arrival of veterans, enlisted personnel, cadet corps and service organizations from the region. It was an impressive display of community support by young and old alike; affirming that we shall not forget, that we shall remember them.
