In a close and tightly contested game on Sunday evening the Valley Maple Leafs pulled out a 3 to 2 victory over the Sackville Blazers. Valley Maple Leafs now lead the series 3 games to 2.
With just a few minutes left in the 3rd period, Valley lead the game 2 goals to 1 Sackville pulled their goalie for the extra man with just over a minute to play. Valley however scored an empty net goal to take a 3 to 1 lead. With 27 seconds left Sackville scored on a screen shot to tighten the gap. Valley was able to hang on to the victory and travels to Sackville on Monday night for what could be a deciding game in the series.
